Family garden in Roztoky u Prahy

Before redesigning this garden, we thoroughly surveyed the landscape, took measurements and drew up several sketches. Once the design plans were finalised and project drawings ready, we embarked on making the garden as complementary as possible to the villa

which it surrounds and which constitutes a typical example of interwar architecture. A pressing issue was to stop the land from sliding, which was achieved by building walls, steps and palisade edging. We were able to reuse a lot of original materials which had been salvaged around the site, e.g. bricks, tiles etc.
